Digital Buddha Apps created Buddha Quotes (Premium) to share mindful teachings with a global audience, including families and children under 13. This document explains what information the app uses, how it is handled, and the limited moments when data might leave your device.
This policy applies to the Buddha Quotes (Premium) Android application and any optional experiences that ship with it. We do not run user accounts or cloud services, so all reading happens entirely on your device.
The app keeps only lightweight preferences inside Android Shared Preferences so that your reading experience feels consistent. These values never leave your phone unless you back up or export the device yourself.
We do not send personal data to our servers. Information only leaves the device when you choose to interact with an external app, for example:
Buddha Quotes (Premium) is designed for general audiences and explicitly welcomes children under 13 with supervision from parents, guardians, or educators. Because we do not collect personal information, the experience complies with the core expectations of COPPA and similar child-safety regulations. We also avoid push notifications, social logins, or behavioral advertising.
The current build uses only Google Play Services components that are required for distribution (such as billing or licensing) and standard Android frameworks. If we ever integrate Google AdMob or analytics, it will be limited to contextual, family-safe content and disclosed in an updated version of this document.
